Serial Mom Title Sequence

Everyone in my motion graphics class was given a random, obscure film director from which we had to choose a film to work with. I was given a more familiar name, John Waters, and I chose one of my favorite movies from the early 90's, Serial Mom. The task was to recreate the opening title sequence based on the movie. The main character, Kathleen Turner, was portrayed as the stereotypical housewife, thus my choice of 50's magazine ads. Her personable outside, mixed with her maniacal outbursts inspired me to add weapons to the hands of the women in the video. The upbeat notes of Simon and Garfunkel's "Mrs. Robinson" fit perfectly with the comedic/murder genre of this movie.
